Lack of Motivation?

I don’t think motivation leads you to practice exercise but the other way around.
You should aim for simple goals!
If you sit on the couch watching TV for hours and you feel to depressed to go outside, just try to start walking in the same place for 5 minutes. You can do it at home and your body is your gym. If you walk 5 minutes in the morning, 5 in the afternoon and 5 at night you just did 15 minutes and at the end of the week almost 2 hours walking!
Like I said before, to create a habit you need 21 days, so for 3 weeks it is important to stick to it but then you may once in a while take a break.
Since I walk with LS I keep a fitness diary where I write down my goals, my weight, my waist perimeter, the exercise and everything I eat or drink every single day. This helps me to stay focused and keeps me motivated since I keep track of my progress. Another thing that may also help is post-it! A post-it in your fridge, near the couch and in the bedroom constantly reminds our goals.
Try this, write down your weight now and one month later.
So, how many pounds have you lost??
